What should i wear?

cocktail attire is encouraged for the wedding. the ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn, weather permitting. Northern Michigan summers can include cooler nights, we hope everyone is comfortable staying and dancing under the stars!

Are children invited?

unfortunately, due to venue restraints, we are not able to host children outside of those in the wedding party (e.g. bridesmaid, ring bearer, flower girl, and ushers). Please limit guests to only those specifically listed on the invitation.

where should i park?

there is limited parking available on-site at the Elberta Life Saving Station. a Shuttle will also be provided for those not driving.

How do i take the shuttle?

The shuttle will leave from Harbor lights resort on Saturday, beginning at 3:30 pm. the last shuttle for the ceremony will leave the hotel at 4:30 pm. The shuttle will run all evening as needed with the last shuttle returning to the hotel at 11:30 pm. please look for the “blue lakes by the bay” white transportation.

I have a food allergy, can i make a special request?

Absolutely! when you RSVP, Please indicate your specific needs so we can accommodate accordingly.

Where Should I fly into?

Both the Grand Rapids Airport (GRR ~ 2.5 hours away) and the Traverse City Airport (TVC ~ 1 hour away) are within Driving Distance.
